I’m Teri Busse, who also writes under T.L. Everheart, award-winning author, screenwriter, speaker, podcast host, psychology graduate student, and the person behind more projects than I probably have any business starting at once.
Before this chapter of my life, I spent more than 25 years in emergency services and public safety, including work as a paramedic, firefighter, and corrections officer. These days, I write and speak about grief, trauma, recovery, resilience, true crime, and what happens when life doesn't go remotely according to plan.
My work includes award-winning books, the screenplay When Silence Never Ends, the podcast 13 Days of Silence: Living in the After, and projects focused on helping people navigate everything from publishing to grief and rebuilding after the worst.
